AUTOMATION IN THE MEAT SECTOR

The automation of meat production is also experiencing a tendency to automate its production processes.
Automatic animal feeding, the packaging of the final product, or the robotized cutting, everything is being automated with industrial machinery and flexible robots able to adapt to the differences between pieces of meat.

The Inser Group is also providing solutions for the meat sector.

REMOVAL OF SPACER BETWEEN LAYERS OF FROZEN CARTONS.

Automatic solution to remove the spacers that facilitate efficient freezing of the products. In order to properly freeze the food contained in the boxes, cold air needs to flow properly between each layer of boxes.
Our solution includes 3 industrial robots that remove each layer of cartons and each separator to achieve a complete pallet free of plastic spacers. A cardboard separator is also placed between layers, or only on the first layer of the pallet.
To improve its stability, the entire pallet is wrapped and labelled with the required traceability data.

PALLETISING FOLDING PLASTIC CRATES.

In this end-of-line automation project, 4 identical robotised palletising cells have been chosen.
Each cell has two infeed conveyors for folding crates, two palletising stations with automatic exit via a chain conveyor, an empty pallet magazine with motorised infeed via a chain conveyor, plus a 5-axis industrial palletising robot with customised gripper.
The palletising robot is capable of capturing groups of folding boxes to deposit them at the palletising stations.
It is also responsible for handling empty pallets from the pallet magazine to each of the palletising stations. The system is completed with a user-friendly interface and our remote connection system that will facilitate the resolution of incidents.

DEPALLETIZING OF MEAT CANS

We have installed some sollutions at the end of line for this huge Brazilian meat producer.
This robotic depalletizer is able to pick the canned meat from a basket that comes from an autoclave.
We use a magnetic gripper and a great capacity robot to take the cans and its plastic separators.
Afterwards, they are placed in a modular band conveyor and divided in rows that will lead them to final labelling.

TRAY FILLING. SAUSAGE PACKETS

These large packets of sausages are produced at a very high speed.
Our customer needed a system capable of moving all that production, occupying as little space as possible.
We designed a light gripper capable of taking two packets of sausages at the same time, which, together with a fast medium-sized robot, achieves the marked target.

PALLETIZING OF CANNED MEAT

This is the previous process to the one you can see above in this page.
The meat cans from the filler and sealer are grouped in layers of the size of a half pallet.
The robot takes that layer and places it on a pallet. It is also capable of placing the separating plastic sheet between layers of meat cans.
